I think the PLC is a great idea.  Implementing them with enough staff and enough time given are the problems we face here at VHS.

TC--Research a famous place/landmark/sight that you have always wanted to visit. Choose two really good pictures from the Internet that portrays this sight very well.

Find 3 SPECIFIC facts about your sight. Then download the following to your computer. (post card template will be sent to you)

Take a close up photo or yourself to place in the post card. You will first need to take it to the Macromedia program Fireworks to "cut" yourself out. Then you will superimpose yourself into your post card. Include all facts you researched as well as a short statement about your photo to make your post card authentic.
